INTRO TO SPIN
If you have always wanted to try spinning but were intimidated or thought it was something you had to work up to, this class is for you. We will cover all the fundamentals of spin. You will receive instruction on bike setup, core movements, heart rate, base training, nutrition information and tips on how to improve your performance and enjoy your ride. You will leave this class with the confidence of a seasoned spinner.

TABATA/STRENGTH is a high-intensity strength/interval training that will boost your aerobic and anaerobic capacity simultaneously, increase your muscular endurance/strength, and improve your climbing/cycling technique and efficiency. Pedaling slow and steady with high resistance at cadence range of 60-80 rpm combined with tabata intervals is the focus of this ride. Tabata intervals consist of 20 sec. max intensity exercise followed by 10 sec. of rest (2:1 work/rest ratio). The cycle is repeated 8 times, or total of 4 min. Tabata intervals are taxing and time efficient. Such workout will raise the body’s metabolic rate long after the session is completed. Post workout fat lost is the end result!
This TRX class builds on the basic knowledge acquired in the TRX FOUNDATIONS class. These classes vary in intensity and skill level to raise fitness, build strength, and develop muscular and cardio endurance. A basic understanding of TRX workout is helpful but not required.
Yoga to lengthen and tone the body and relax the mind. This class will Inspire, uplift and empower. Begin your evening refreshed and rejuvenated. The practice of Yoga will improve your focus, strengthen your body and improve your performance in any activity. You may feel so invigorated that you’ll want to follow it up with a SPIN.
Spaces are given up to waitlisted clients 5 minutes before class begins and walk-in’s as soon as class starts. We will make every effort to hold your reservation but want everyone to get a chance to ride. There is a $10 no show fee for classes where there is a wait-list and we had to turn other riders away.
If you know you will be running late, please give the studio a call and we will hold your bike.
